Marcus Rashford has been in fine form for United since the turn of the year, weeks after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as interim boss. The England international has notched nine Premier League goals this season, a career-best tally. In the first leg of United’s last 16 tie with PSG, though, Rashford couldn’t put his stamp on the game as the Parisian club ran out 2-0 winners. Goals from Prinsel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe were enough to take a comfortable advantage back to Paris for the French champions. But Rashford showed he was in the mood for their highly-anticipated second leg by producing a piece of skill in training that left Manchester United fans on social media starry-eyed. The 21-year-old was in the middle of a game of rondo with his team-mates when a ball that looked destined to leave the circle, was hooked back in with the back of Rashford’s heel. Marcos Rojo played the ball towards the striker and as it passed his hip, Rashford stuck his heel out, controlling the ball, before back heeling it, without looking, into play again. One fan on Twitter said: "Future MUFC legend." Another was impressed with Rashford's skill, tweeting: "@MarcusRashford has talent beyond his age." Someone else simply tweeted: "Unbelievable talent." And finally, one said: "MANC BORN AND BRED." Meanwhile, manager Ole Gunnar Solslkaer spoke about his side’s clash with PSG, noting that United wouldn’t go down easy. “Everyone expects us to go out easily but that doesn't happen with Manchester United," he said. "Our pride was hurt last time we played them so we are going to see players who are going to give their all." “Our motivation isn't to make history — it's to go through. These players aren't used to losing and we know at our best we can match them." "We've beaten Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham away from home which gives us belief we can do this as well." He also spoke about the prospect of bringing through young players, who hope they can come in and make their mark on the squad like Rashford. "Every young player at this club is dreaming about coming on and having the impact Rashy has had,” he added. "There's been so many examples of that and that's the belief they must have to make it." United are also still in the FA Cup this season - where they play Wolves in the quarter finals. But they’re also in contention four a top four finish - not something that many United fans had even thought about in December when Jose Mourinho was sacked.
