When Manchester United travelled to Arsenal in the FA Cup earlier this year, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side displayed the counter-attacking football that had fans proudly proclaiming that they had their club back. Two of United's three goals were on the break, and Romelu Lukaku picked up two assists. His second was a lung-bursting run and fine pass to Jesse Lingard to double United's lead. United then sealed the win as Paul Pogba raced through the centre with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial on either side. Pogba's shot was palmed into the path of Martial to score. Those three players, plus Lukaku, are probably the fastest in the United squad, and it's clear to see who Lukaku believes would win in a race. Answering questions from fans for United's Instagram account, Lukaku was asked: "Who is the fastest in the group?" Straight away, Lukaku raised his hand and smiled, before saying: "And people call me slow!" And Lukaku has reason to be confident, as last season he recorded a top speed of 34.84 km/h, faster than any other player at the club. Lukaku took three of the top five speeds recorded by a United player in 2017/18, with Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford also showing their pace.
